I feel sorry for Joe Hart but it maybe right to think ahead and have the three young keepers. If they get the jitters though, Harts experience would have been better for one of the slots. All have mistakes in them

Too many defenders and not enough midfielders – why do we need so many fullbacks?

No excuse for playing people out of position at this level

That squad won’t scare anyone – barely any creativity in it. A few places have been wasted.

Congrats to TAA and RLC in making the final squad. Given what we’ve got and the 5 on standby I can’t think of any glaring admissions although I would have been tempted to take Wilshere but injuries have cost him.

We should be good enough to get out of the Group but it’s difficult to see us going too much further.

Does anybody think TAA will play? If not then why not take Shelvy or Wilshire as we are really short in midfield creativity.
I havent checked. How many games has TAA played. The WC finals is not a place to experiment?

whoisbeni….I would agree but we just do not have any quality midfieders, same for defenders but at least with them the team tactic will be built around defensive play. Up front is the only glimmer of hope, young players with talent but they need service and a playmaker and we just do not have it

Adlab, it’s the overall package made up mate and thinking about the bigger picture should there be any injuries.

I would naturally expect in TAA in not playing a prominent part of Gaz’s first preferred 11 selections, however with the season he’s had with Liverpool, he’s definitely one for ‘good to go’.

TAA is now Liverpool’s first choice RB. is this too soon for him? Possibly but he’s got serious talent, especially going forward. He can take free kicks and put in a great deep cross.

Not sure TAA is better than Walker currently but it’s great experience for him and sets him up nicely for the Euros but if Walker were injured or played as one of a back 3?

whoisbeni… that right there is a discussion about whether you want liquid lunch squits or one that takes two hours to drop… Wiltshire or Lallana. neither. Wiltshire gets injured pulling on an England jersey.. Lallana is sent to intensive care thinking about it.
