For the first time after all the games in hand were played out, we see a distance about everyone else.

Congrats Man City

They did extremely well and I’m led to believe broken a new record in the number of Top Flight victories in succession.

That degree of consistency proved that was essentially what was needed to pull away.

It’s all about the other positions now.

A mean defence wins leagues and city look so strong all over the pitch. Fully deserve the league but I understand were Brian is coming from

City or their supporters won’t think it’s done till it’s all tied up mathematically

Sean…you are right…..have been following football too long to know there is a lot to do yet. It was interesting to hear Pep say he would put winning the EPL more important than winning CL. I still think he wants to win that as well, for the owners, but I am not sure City can do it this season

I think City are the best team in Europe right now and if they continue as they are I can’t see anyone else in Europe beating them bar maybe Bayern and even then it would come down to whose the best team on the day/days even luck.

I think Pep is purposefully playing down the importance of City winning the CL and I can understand that because he wants to try and lift the pressure off the players tbh I think Pep and his team deserve to win the CL and I think they’ve got a really really good chance of doing so this season.

Agree Sean. Signing Diaz promoted collectively a strong defensive unit. Pep’s rotated the back 4 to keep players fresh, yet the quality has diminished in the slightest. A Tight Defense.

The players throughout have stepped up and reminds me of us last season; even those individuals coming off the bench.

This particular season where results have at times been surprising to see needed a team to win a handful of matches in succession and Man City were the ones achieving this and coming out on top.

I really hope Frank Lampard steers clear of Celtic and the SPL it’s a two horse league completely dominated by Celtic and Rangers. There is far more credibility in Rodgers achieving a top 4 finish with Leicester than winning an SPL title with Celtic imo.
