Does anyone know what would happen in terms of qualification in the following scenario…

      1st Man C 2nd Spurs 3rd Chelsea 4th Liverpool 5th Man Utd 6th Arsenal

Man U win Champions League and Arsenal win the Europa. Would I be right in thinkingย  everyone would qualify in that scenario bar Liverpool?

Chances of United winning the CL are like Huddersfield winning the title this year!

So does anyone know the answer? You can put Chelsea 5th and they win the Champions League if you like. Does 4th place then miss out?

Hightown, I found this, but not sure whether there’s enough info there to answer your question.

TBH ladies and gents, I think we could be seeing very late drama… A bit like when Chelsea were struggling to qualify for the champions league and it was a tie between Liverpool and Chelsea for fourth… the name Jasper Gronkaer rings bells securing a 2-0 victory at the bridge…

Hightown, I hope it doesn’t go down to the wire like last time. The CL qualification was one of the reason we had Roman come in and invest. Could not qualifying signal his exit from CFC?

442, it’s easy to speculate on Roman he never speaks but he’s been leaving Chelsea for 15 years now but is still there and is at the centre of the drive for a New Stamford Bridge if we miss out on the CL it won’t be the first time and other than Arsenal who currently have their own problems and United we’ve got the best appearance record in the CL over the last 15 years of anyone else in the PL and pretty much the best trophy haul too.

On Sunday Chelsea lost a game they should have at least taken a point from, we’ve made it really tough for ourselves now especially with City away to come but it’s not completely out of the question despite the tough run of games and if we don’t make it we just have to get our heads down and go again.

As a club we’ve been in tougher places than this with No Stadium to call our own which was falling down around our ears anyway, marooned in Division 2 with Chelsea fans collecting money in blue plastic buckets to Save the Bridge.

If thing goes against us this season as well they might it won’t be the end of the world but it will be a challenge.

                        http://www.cityam.com/215756/chelsea-have-received-over-1bn-roman-abramovich-loans-12-years

Roman Abramovich’s loans to Chelsea have risen above the ยฃ1bn mark.

Chelsea’s billionaire Russian owner has loaned a total of ยฃ1,041,243,000 to Fordstam, the company through which he owns the Premier League champions.

According to Fordstam’s latest accounts for the full financial year ended 30 June 2014, Abramovich’s loans to the club rose by ยฃ60m from ยฃ984m last season.

Technically, Abramovich would be able to recall the loan at 18 months’ notice – although he is not thought to have any plans to do so. In fact, the accounts state: “The company has received confirmation from the ultimate controlling party that sufficient funds will be provided to finance the business for the foreseeable future.”

The above article was from May 2015.So not sure what the current financial situation is?
