Okay, so just caught up with everything re extra-time and the dubious pen decision.

First of all, Michael Oliver is one of my personal favourite of Referee’s and maybe he might have got that call wrong on the Pen, but the afters from Buffon.

Honestly, the guy’s a legend and he’s leaving like this?

It’s UEFA that’s the problem for not implementing VAR.

Admittedly though, I’d be gutted to lose in such way, but from a winning point of view, I’d be elated, so it’s one of them where you’re contradicting yourself.

Have to say I thought it was a peno. Sure, the attacker made a meal of it (name me an attacker who wouldn’t in the same situation?), but I think Micky O. was right.

As for Buffon’s “afters”, he kinda got what he deserved (agree it was a shame mind you), but players shouldn’t react like that full stop, regardless of the situation..
