I’ve read the report from the Guardian and seemingly from the outside, it appears to be a joint amicable agreement between all parties. Quite sad as I like De Zerbi; straight-down-the-line-no nonsense.
Sign of the times would it be for a PL Manager’s tenure lasting 18 months.
Brighton can’t unfortunately finish any higher than 10th. From a financial point of view, even the difference of losing 2/3 million in finishing players is an underachievement and the Top end of the club factor this in when evaluating the season.
I have no blame in De Zerbi’s direction, but just sheer misfortune of him not having his players fit in one go.
