Never realised that Mkhitaryan was only a month younger than Sanchez. When you look at it that was it wouldn’t be that bad of a ‘swap’ all things considered.

Sanchez still 4/11 to join Utd with City at 9/1 and PSG at 33/1.

It’s just RvP all over again. £25m for a player who will at most give us 2-3 years at the top level. Only going to hinder Martial and Rashford too.

Mkhitaryan is EVS to join Arsenal. If we pay £25m plus Mkhitaryan (who cost us £30m) for a 29 year old with 6 months left on his contract then that has to go down as one of the worst transfers in history.

Hightown hope
This game has survived 150 odd years without it and it’s done OK.

The game also survived without goal line technology but look at the difference that has made without slowing the game down. At the end of the day, if it clears up decisions and reduces human error without slowing the game down I’m all for it.

On a slightly separate topic, I think all aspects of the England national team should be English. In my opinion it shouldn’t be restricted to the playing staff.
