I now I feel like a dick for using the word pet.

I appreciate the support fellas, I really do. It’s not my first time losing a pet, but it is the first time I’ve been the decision maker. I’m sure I will make sense of it all in time. Atm I just feel like such a traitor, despite being told its the most selfless thing you can do.

Hey Nil. It likely stems from Putins perceived shame for Russia after the end of the cold War and the break up of the USSR. What his true end game is, I’m actually a little terrified to hazard a guess.

It still doesn’t suggest they were Nazi loyal, just anti being invaded.

Threeps – I’m not sure Finland was ever Nazi loyal. They fought a largely defensive war against the soviets, eventually fighting alongside the allies against the Nazis.

Blaze – if the cold War taught us anything, it’s that a nation is unlikely to use nukes, if they can also be used against them. In addition I doubt very much Russia would drop a nuke on a neighbouring country.

Yeah Sean, I would love us to go for Bellingham. Not this Window I might add, but at some point before a rival snaps him up.

Not to give false hope or anything, but based off of information from a professor in infectious diseases, typically any new virus is most dangerous when it is first discovered, in order to survive the virus will need to mutate, but with each new mutation the virus will be a weaker version of what went before it. He was quick to point out that this is typical behaviour for viruses, and not necessarily the case for covid, but it does back up Lucky’s link above, and we can only hope that each new variant to come will be weaker still.

But I’m not challenging their rights mate. I’m just saying they’re selfish. Given they’re so rock solid they can take covid full on the chin, surely that won’t even phase them.

I just think it’s selfish not to get it unless you’ve been told its not safe for you. That’s my final point.

So imagine being double jabbed and then actually getting covid. A few weeks later following that up with a booster. You would surely be about 50% antibodies

That still feels like a lone wolf mentality Lucky and if we all thought like that we would never see the end of it.

Passing a virus onto people you live with isn’t exactly news worthy Lucky. I didn’t say the vaccine stopped people from spreading it, I said it reduces their ability to do so, which it does. The article specifically states how the more jabs you have, your chance of spreading it reduces.

I don’t agree with them being mandated, but there isn’t a single credible argument for not getting it unless you have been specifically told by a trusted (by you) medical professional not to get it. So if they decide to ban unvaccinated from public transport, restaurants, night clubs, football matches then so be it. It’s a public insurance policy that some people are making the free choice not to buy into. Given we are still living in the pandemic, and not post pandemic, there has to be consequences for that.

In a nutshell, the reason we have lockdowns is to prevent our hospitals becoming overrun. Having the vaccine reduces your chance of becoming hospitalised significantly and even though it does not reduce your risk of infection it will reduce your ability to spread it due to lower viral load and you are also unlikely to be filling an ITU bed.

I think Rangnick is going to find he is short of midfielders that will be able to play the game he wants to play. United have a dangerous but top heavy squad imo, and he’s already pointed to balance being his priority. If he isn’t able to get any kind of bounce from the squad, then it’ll be a long winter for your lot Ed.
