I always rated Dzeko Brian. Always tended to come up with a goal when needed.

I just can’t see Kane going abroad, which would limit his options to the 3 premier league teams mentioned. The problem for Kane is if someone like Sancho suddenly becomes available as well, that’s another young striker on the market who is better value for money for a big club. Something could still be worked out, but I still fear Kane could have hung himself out to dry. Two years ago would have been the time to move, if he was going to do it.

I think buying a midfielder and waiting for the right striker is a real possibility Brian. I can honestly see City going for Grealish this summer and waiting for Haaland next summer.

Grealish is wonderful player but he’s another one who would command a massive fee. I’m almost certain Utd would have signed him had he not saved them from relegation last season. After that, he became a very expensive player to sign. His worth to Villa is arguably more than Kane’s at Spurs.

Kane now as little as 11/10 to join City. Looking ominous now!

Mikus…I just saw Dzeko getting his head on the KDB crosses better than anybody else, even Kane. His general play a bit “iffy” but he did work hard and as you say, always came up with a goal

Olly Holt predicts Levy hanging it out until the last day of the transfer window which is his usual way.

Grealish would be a great signing for anyone but Villa would be a very reluctant seller and he will cost circa £100m too.

Ed, Nine here’s hoping! But, no, the papers have suggested bids by both Chelsea and Utd but I just can’t see either happening to be honest.

In fact, I retract the “here’s hoping” bit. As great as Kane to Utd would be, it would definitely put a stop to us strengthening the main areas we need to strengthen. It’s a luxury signing I don’t think we can afford to make. Whilst we can afford Kane, we can’t afford to ignore the more pressing weak areas of the side.

Would much rather Sancho than Kane yes Sean. Sancho, a CB and defensive mid would be the ideal window for Utd. Kane would pretty much stop any of the others happening. Cavani is fine for another season then find something longer term there depending on Greenwood’s progress.

An objective analysis of United’s transfer objectives Ed. Although to get the fans on side I could see the Glazers providing Ole with the funds to achieve those objective plus Kane.

If Kane goes as he seemingly almost certainly will and wants to stay in the PL only three Clubs in the PL have the resources to buy him and of those three Clubs Chelsea’s need is probably the greatest and I think they are interested.

Problem is Levy would rather sit on a Porcupine and have a Dentist pull all of his teeth out than sell him to Chelsea.😊

Not looking forward to today’s games, the tension is too high cause I think it can go anyway as far as those 2 top 4 places are concerned. However strangely can’t wait for the new season to start is it in 10 weeks time.

Yeah, Blaze, it’s gonna be tense for the fans whose teams are involved. We ourselves have a lifetime of those type of upsets or last minute shocks so nothing to take for granted at all.

Each team just needs to get their own job done and hope from elsewhere they get a bit of good fortune.

I’ve been having a feeling for the last few days of Spurs winning at Leicester.

I may turn out to be wrong 🙂

Very good pint about greenwood Ed. Not sure why I keep forgetting him. He’s great wide right at minute but I can see him playing more through the middle over the next while. Cavani is looking really fit and has been excellent. Do Utd really need Kane?
