This is exactly what I was saying when I was saying I wanted Ten Hag. Without the right structure around him, I fear the lack of appetite to overhaul the side will sadly lead to a very short spell for Ten Hag. Asking these players to play total football is suicide.

Signing Ten Hag as a coach only made sense if you had a modern structure with best in class recruitment because his system requires a very precise personnel. The squad we have didn’t fit Ten Hag, at all. This is the worst mismatch between players and coach I’ve ever seen.

Brentford have been great Chucky but we were saying the same last week. Brighton were fantastic. Oddly, neither were fantastic in their only other game this season though which suggests we’re making them look far better than they are.

Crazy decisions Sean. Ten Hag is not blameless but I think he’s been somewhat forced into trying things to be able to play the way he wants having not got the players in he wants.

Trying to be objective. Apart from the awful errors, the structure of the midfield is all wrong imo.
Fernandez and Eriksen are too similar and I feel there is negative synergy if there is such a thing and Fred, well its Fred. Hence no measured link between defence and attack.
Also Sancho and Rashford aimless.
