Yeah banjo, it did feel like a mugging to me too! Hate losing 3 points in last minute. To be fair in first half I don’t think spurs could press chelsea at all and were forced into a low block, but keeping it to 1 at half time was massive, and honestly as much possesion we had we didn’t cause you too much trouble or have many decent chances to extend the lead.
Second half was very good, the system change helped you a lot and I thought both teams were very good for last 40 mins of the game.
Oh and “The-Team-That-Cant-Be-Named”…? What about “The football club formerly known as Chelski””?
Anyway, see you around bud, will defo be on to say hello when spurs miraculously qualify for europa league via champions league group stage 😉
Looks as though it’s 2 of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs for top 4 this year, gonna be very tough, but the positive for you, stevo and myself is that we know for sure that if our team finishes top 4 then one of the other 2 London teams will miss out!
Maybe in a year our two we can set our sights on top two but for now, it’s a triple threat match between the blues, the reds and the lily whites of london! (A no DQ triple threat going by yesterday’s game 😆)
It was a tough one to take but can only give credit to spurs for managing to salvage a draw, conte wasn’t the referee after all 😂

I’ve said before lucky that Chelsea be right up there. They have a brilliant squad and the issue is just a bit of inconsistency
Spurs were blessed yday. Conte made a mistake from the off for me. Starting nearly sane team that Chelsea blew away in the carling cup. He needs to start sone of his new signings.
Great game but Chelsea should feel rightly aggrieved.

In all seriousness, I loved all that between Tuchel and Conte. Rivalries have become all too nice recently. The high-fiving and love-in between Klopp and Pep in recent years is rather boring, even if the football isn’t.

Great straight for Arsenal but I still have reservations about then mate. Really not sure about areta and the keeper and bsck 4. Very strong everywhere else and Partey is a top player but just needs to find that consistency

Sean, our first 11 is quality except for lacking real goalscorers. Kante is massive for us, we look like a top team with him, but 3 seasons in a row now and he has played barely half the games, and many of the games he does he is catching up. Went off again yesterday. Sadly it looks as though he is breaking down physically due to the intensity at which he has played his whole career.
We do not have a brilliant squad imo, just a really big one. Very few of our starting players would start for City or pool, you may say kante would but that’s only when he is fit and like I said he hasn’t been a regular starter for 3 seasons now.
We have everything we need to put up a good fight for top 4 but last season made it clear that we didn’t have the quality week in week out to challenge top 2. You called it inconsistency, and that is correct, but the cause of the inconsistency was the players available each week. When we had 8 or 9 of our best outfield players on the pitch we were generally good, when we didn’t we were generally bad.
Hopefully by end of the window we have more balance and our squad can prove to be as good as you think they are 👍

Completely agree Lucky, it’s pathetic that the media is trying to make something of this. It was clear as day the context Graeme was talking in. Have actually just been watching a bit of Souness on talksport with Simon Jordan – some really good debates, he’s been a great addition.

Just something not quite right with us at the moment. We work hard, we dominate the ball, but our final ball and decision making in the box has been lacking for some time. Elliot been bright, but Salah just goes for glory too often when a better pass/opportunity is on. Even if we go on to win, there’s food for thought.
