If you draw a vertical plane up from the edge of the line it will intersect a small outer portion of the ball.

But that is subjective and open to how someone reads it, just my opinion. Hence no obvious mistake as without a correct angle directly above no one can say for sure.

I prefer Newcastle anyday to Arsenal but tbh I also thought the ball was just out, the push is hard to tell cause it seemed kind of a weak push and the offside one I still can’t figure out if it was or not. Handball not though. Haha 4 decisions to make for one goal must be a record.

Alfie and cm, just on Anthony , he’s being given so many chances now. Its 86m for thst kind of rubbish he was showing yday and on a regular basis. He is continuously played and it’s certainly not helping the young Dane up front. He is running his balks off but no is creating anything for him. Anthony provides nothing and utd over paid for him by about 50m

As you say, why not play mount there? Ten hagg went all out for mount. He’s not being played. Hojlund needs service. He’s trying his best and clearly a player in there but massive responsibility and he’s getting no service

Probably the worse one looking back as there are 3 critical points picked up but the most obvious one was the foul on Gabriel. Never the less no matter how aggrieved one feels, I didn’t like Arteta’s mannerisms in the interview.

He’ll probably be fined. Still, nothing beats ours at Tottenham; Check Complete!

It’s glaringly obvious, these players values are over inflated by the players agents and the selling club. Anthony is never worth that amount of money.

Also going back to when Chelsea signed Danny Drinkwater from Leicester. His career was ruined.

The angle for the ball means it’s not clear as you need to take the curvature of the ball into consideration. So I can see why they played on. However, it was exactly the same for Utd v Brighton and VAR overruled the ref and gave it as out. That is ridiculous and should not happen.

Clear push, no idea why that wasn’t seen.

Handball, but I think (and the laws change too often) the latest is that it’s only overruled by VAR if the goal scorer hand balls it, not the player in the build up / no idea why they think that’s acceptable though.

Offside – was at a mates house and plenty thought it was offside as similar to a spurs one a couple of weeks ago.

Goalkeeper in front of the ball, so it’s a strange situation for the linesman. VAR should know the intricacies though. Don’t understand why they don’t have a camera angle for that. It was all over the telly so they must have been able to do something.

Sean – spot on with Anthony. I thought there was a player in there somewhere. I thought he would practice to cross with his weak right foot all summer but he didn’t.

Needs to be dropped and Højlund needs service. Mount can deliver a ball and would also make us a bit more compact out of possession. I would play him there. We play a man down otherwise.

United overpayed for Antony because Ajax didn’t want to lose both Martinez and Antony… so they inflated the Antony fee to put us off. United ended up paying the fee. Considering how much Moussa Diaby, Doku cost, we got robbed again. Gakpo came close to joining Leeds or Southampton for £25m the summer United bought Antony, so United could have got 2 players for less than what the club paid for Antony.

The club doesn’t have a structure or direction and clubs end up exploiting this. There is already something called United tax, which was known during Fergie days. He didn’t want to pay a few million more i.e Lucas Moira, Eden Hazard. Nowadays the club is paying £30m+ more than they should for players.

There isn’t a rational approach to things. Even Ajax were left flustered when United came back paying the fee.
