Exactly Sean, Diaz incorrectly disallowed goal, Odergaard handball and now Doku studs in the chest. 3 massive decisions that went against Liverpool and most likely cost a few points that could cost the title.
Funny thing is City fans think Liverpool have the favour of the refs and its themselves that everyone is conspiring against!
I don’t believe that there’s a conspiracy, although can understand having some refs on Dubai payrolls can fuel these. I just think its incompetency and luck, City seem to have a lot and Liverpool somewhat less so.

I had thought about mthat logic and nearly posted about it before. it’s always good to consider incompetence before conspiracy. That’s just solid reasoning.
I just find it is getting a little insulting now.Is there a single person on these forums who thinks that it wasn’t a penalty? Let’s start there.
Maybe I’m wrong but I’m confident that not one person here will say it wasn’t a penalty.It is yet to be determined of course but I look at this and think if the VAST majority of people watching this think it was, then the ref and 2 VAR officials think it was fine… and this is ontop of what is to me a very suspect season so far.
it isn’t all about the big calls also, why do City seem impervious to yellow cards, their fouling was as cynical as you’ll see. Not violent but tactical, but no cards until the 60th minute or something…
I know people don’t want to see conspiratorial because conspiratorial people usually don’t put thought into things (regardless of what they might say), but this is too obvious IMO.
I don’t expect to change minds but I am genuinely thinking that this is fixed.
We had some horrible decision in past seasons where you might in the heat of the moment go “match fixing” but you wouldn’t really mean it, but I am saying this is the cold light of day and Id love to see a review that goes back and counts up the small decisions.The game is dirty and it’s time for a police investigation.

We dominated City like I’ve never seen. yes we should have had some better finishing but we were robbed.
Every game City are playing with 12 men and they still arent ahead of us.to the football-loving City fans on here, I am not suggesting that your love for your club is tainted but what is happening with your team is.
They are ruining this sport and their owners are corrupting the game by bribing officials, ontop of the financial doping.
They leave the sport or I do, and I can only speak for myself.
Im not going to continue to invest myself in something that isn’t on the level.

City also got the softest of pens at both Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge this season which were both extremely odd that they weren’t overruled. It’s definitely City’s season for calls going in their favour this season. I don’t believe in any kind of conspiracy either but they’re certainly riding their luck in the big games. Our lot are getting no luck at all, sadly. Doesn’t help that we’re also crap but that’s beside the point.

Ed beat me to it, clear pen and I get the ‘higher bar in the penalty area’ debate, but there was a very, very soft pen for City against us when they needed one and since then we have had countless similar (if not more contact situations) not given.
The integrity of the game is gone when the owners of a tea pay refs to officiate in leagues in their own countries. They should not be allowed to officiate City matches whilst being paid by City owners. Anyone who has an issue with that needs to give their head a wobble. It is clearly wrong.

Didn’t see the 2nd most important game yesterday so not going to comment on the peno…
Certainly don’t think the refs are on the payrole… (I’m more of a believer of the refs had VAR as much as we do and are trying to screw it up conspiracy, mixed in with sheer incompentance)
However, do think it’s a bit of a “mystery” how the 115 get away with so many soft fouls… I remember when they knocked us out the FA Cup, the HT foul count was 3 for Spuds and 14 for the 115… and no yellows… pretty sue I commented on here about it too…

You need to grow up mate. You’ve done about 10 posts all crying conspiracy theory and saying it is corruption. Was it a pen? In my opinion yes it was. Was it not given because the refs want City to win the title? Of course it fucking wasn’t. They got a call wrong. Wolves have been on the end of some really bad calls this season. Are the refs all against them? You don’t seem to have mentioned that. Take your bullshit conspiracy theories somewhere else and grow up.

Benn youtubing the “PENO”…. and the only view I’ve found is from quite a high vantage point, and watching it in real time, parts of me reckons it might be because it looked like Mac basically ran into Doku’s foot and wasn’t really paying attention to the ball, very obviously fishing for the peno… and considering where the ref was standing, I can kinda understand why he didn’t give (although I don’t think anybody from 115 would have complained if it was given either).
I reckon I’m in the “could have gone either way” camp rather than the “100% nailed on” camp.

Chucky, I respect your opinion and the way you give it. K know what you mean regards MA running into the ball but he didn’t make the player stick his foot into him. He was desperate to win every challenge (which we were incredible at for the entire 2nd half) .
I know that my position on this is going to draw a few negative opinions. I didnt expect quite that from Tugay, but I will destroy him of he ever chooses to meet up and that will be that.
I guess I need to apologise for daring to have a strong opinion on this season.
People want to say it’s not different from others but most do not watch Liverpool. Most so not watch man city.Stfu then.

The funny thing is that I’d usually be the one laughing at the conspiratorial person.
Maybe I am wrong and it’s just a run of bad luck but I’ve seen a lot this season that has formed my position.
