Cm, i watched up until 2nd pen and everton dominated. My good friend is a utd fan and he was hoping to see a ten hag utd team dominate possession in games.
Why do you think we are not seeing utd develop into the way ajax play?
Even if you dont have the players you shoukd see signs of the way he wants to play. Hes losing the plot with some of his comments. Usually the sign of a manager who is on gis way out.
Its poor to watch. Some good young playets coning through an excellent academy. Ratcliffe making some good noise there. Hes trying to make some good football decisions. I just cant see who comes in at utd instead of ten hagg though ?

We saw a glimpses of what Ten Hag could do last season. But like always the players give up. He just doesn’t have enough runners and player who are willing to do a job when the side lose the ball.
The slow transition from the back to attack because of lack of movement from the players and how quickly opposition players manage to get from their box to United’s box because of lack of covering ground and pressing.
This is not only happening under Ten Hag, it is also happened under Ole, Ragnick and Jose.
This is also the consequence for rewarding players for mediocre too. All they have to do is perform for half a season and they will be earning the same or more than De Bruyne, Salah, Van Dijk. So why bother trying.

Weirdly, whilst I was getting ready to start work in the afternoon, had TNT on and the build up to the game and this Tune has got into my head. Did some research, and didn’t realize the Stones were actually gigging from the middle 80s. Some of their well known tunes are old!

So, 35 minutes of Villa living up to their Villains tag and Spuds struggling against another low block, except for 10 minutes aronf 25-35 minute mark when Villa actually played and caused us all sorts of problems… very onbiously playing for the draw… up to Spuds to figure a way through this… neither club is going to be threatening top3, that’s for sure!
