It was an arrogant comment though Nine. There have been a few recently too. It doesn’t bother me so much, I’ll just take the comment apart but you coming back and suggesting that this is not the case is incorrect my friend.
You’re right though in that we’re all to be given a little slack but at the same time, if someone makes a silly remark, it’s on the table for a response. I just think it’s a tad unfair to claim that Threeps might be chasing anyone off when really, it’s their own doing, if you get me.

Well, honestly Nine, I was very uninformed on how they separate phases, so I find that it takes away from a bit of the confusion, in that part. However ya, offside should maybe just means offside. I am willing to let this play out though and see. It’s the other aspects that we’ve talked about (time taken, pedantic 1cm calls and also the fear of over-ruling element for other types of calls),

Mak, please see my post to threeps above and my original post said as you are saying “if someone posts nonsense there’s nothing wrong with anyone pointing that out in a respectful way”.
Let’s be honest the ability to post nonsense is not limited to just City posters who in the main are very very good posters.
As I said I can understand City posters questioning why Pep winning an historic domestic treble which had never been achieved before wasn’t recognised and I suspect if the achievements of the two teams was the other way around Liverpool posters would have been asking the same question as the City posters have asked.

I was speaking about anyone, including myself, not just the City lads.
I think Sean said it best though about walking on egg shells. I don’t see any great feud here worthy of what you said and with the greatest of respect, I think you stepped in a little too briskly with your initial warning about not losing City posters. What Threeps said was a very brief and in my opinion, valid remark.

Chucky, jokes aside, of course the penalty affected the game. I don’t think it’s best that we talk about whether it was or wasn’t a peno causer I know we disagree but ya, the game would have been very different without that peno. I would even say it kinda threw Liverpool off their game a bit. Sometimes you can score too early. The game was just dreadful, either as a result or of course the intense heat didn’t help matters.
if we don’t win it this season, I’ll be routing for you lads. Ye need a pick me up by the looks of things.

I didn’t see the article yet but is it any surprise that they aren’t making money? I’m kinda impressed that they are actually in the green at all. It just goes to show how utterly dominant they have been financially, to be missing out on CL football etc etc and still be really healthy financially.
The thing is, with their sponsorship and competition money taking hits. Being out of the running for the main trophies for years… it’ll affect their next big sponsorship deals. 2 or 3 more season of no CL football and they won’t be in the green anymore.

Just read some earlier posts. City fans are not arrogant. We just continue to be amazed at the quality of football we play. Same goes for Liverpool. Great team that play exciting football.
I am just pleased we have been able to be winners.

Lads, take a step back, Klopp won an award that was voted for Europe wide, Liverpool were involved in some brilliant game in the CL and came a very close second to what is considered Europe wise as one, if not the best side on the continent. Had the vote just been in England then I dare say with Man City’s domestic dominance the result may have been different, but it was a European award voted for by Europeans with European eyes….Pagan

Pagan 3.44pm – top post! I love a bit of a disagreement on here, bit of controversy etc. Exactly what there should be, ffs.
