Songman also, Wirtz and Isak got very long contracts here, you are just setting yourself up to be the villain here if you wanna keep up the same redundant shit you have been saying about them for the next 5 years. You don´t judge them on ability, you judge them on price or money cause that is the only scenario you can judge a player on. You can´t see a good player out there, you need the right transfer fee and the right numbers on transfermarkt to be able to judge them.
Like one of your favorite comparison is Goykeres and Isak, I find that comparison hilarious, everyone from Sweden knows who the better striker is. Everyone can basically see it besides you, even my Arsenal friends know who the better striker is and they just hope that Isak will not be fit like you. Cause they know he can destroy teams all on his own. You want him to fail to prove yourself! Talk about a fucking ego maniac.
Also with Brewster, FFS, we actually got a good price for him but what a waste of talent after he broke his leg for us. You would rather sell the number one prospect in the country for money to balance the books like you stated just above here than give them a chance.
Cause money is all you care about in football.
You know so little about the history of this club that you don´t know how many failed big transfer we have had in the past, like we once bought the number one prospect in the country, this is back in the 90s. Gave him the biggest contract of all under youth players only for him to fall onto some scaffolding and get some glass pierced through his leg. I can´t remember his name someone might over here might point it out.
Your argument would probably be we should not waste money on such a target again cause it cost us money! Nigel Clough another fucking transfer record that went haywire but the fact is we should do it again. He was the number one target for us that season. The only target we should never have gone for is Carroll as he did not want to leave Newcastle.
When the club pays top money for a top target we should celebrate, it means we are one step closer to Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona, AC Milan and Bayern who are the only rivals we have in Europe. Stop wishing for a mediocre budget where we compete against Bournemouth in the league! FFS Have some ambition dude!!!

6th July 2026 at 5:18 pm #249877“I only care about Liverpool winning the biggest trophies, that has always been my No. 1 prioroty..”
Clearly this is not the case.
You’ve spent the guts of 10mths moaning about money on an almost weekly basis.
Not about the change in the tactics.
Not about the inability of the coaching staff to get the best out of the squad.
Not about the misuse of players and their abilities.
Not about the players poor physical conditioning.
Not about the style of play.Money.
Week in, week out.-

6th July 2026 at 5:22 pm #249879true we could find 1000s of quotes about money for the last 10 months, not a single post about football only.

8th July 2026 at 11:11 am #249985Alonso and Arbeloa back in the Premier League as managers, and deservedly so.
One thing with the Spanish, and I’ve worked with them in the financial sector, they can be very intense and dedicated to their job – and it’s the same with their football managers, no wonder so many of them excel at this.
While Carragher, their direct peer, is still spouting hot air, and empty drama, about Liverpool in the PL, most of the time, and trying to push weak agendas, and getting paid a fortune to do so.

9th July 2026 at 11:43 am #250053What do you think of the WC final half time “Suoerbowl style” show? Possibly extending the break until 25-30 minutes.
Actually I know what you all think, just want to see some rants from Bingo! And Bingo whatever you say about it, I agree.

9th July 2026 at 1:40 pm #250059It still looks like it´s gonna be Barcola, I do wonder what he is willing to do to get the transfer done though. Cause that price tag of his with 2 years left on his contract is ridiculous.

10th July 2026 at 2:06 pm #250096Michael Edwards leaves his role as CEO of Football for Fenway Sports Group.
Perhaps he can take the calamitous Richard Hughes with him.
Hughes recklessly spent £240m on just two players, Isak and Wirtz, who delivered very little, going totally against the clever transfers of the Klopp era that enabled Liverpool to win every trophy in club football.

10th July 2026 at 2:11 pm #250099Pre season starts on Monday.
Season starts in 6 weeks.
Edwards has left the club.
We need several players in (5,6,7)We need to give the manager the best opportunity to be successful and yet very little business has been done.
Most countries are now out of the WC.

10th July 2026 at 2:13 pm #25010010th July 2026 at 2:51 pm #250103Hughes will be soon.
The itks I follow again being proven right about Edwards, they called this a long time ago.
Share your concerns Ginger and I did mention a fee times I was worried with Edwards and Hughes being in charge but likely to go. Why should they waste their time building a squad if going soon anyway?
Crazy prices not helping of course.
Mora seems a go for January as too young for this window.
Think Diomande will not be going to Paris and his agents either backtrack or he stays another year in Germany and they miss out on this season’s windfall.
Zabarnyi being mentioned again as the CB signing and would make sense if on a loan to buy. He and Iraola know each other.
This isn’t a rumour but just my own opinion. So deffo not a FACT! I’d keep an eye on Huijsen’s situation at Madrid. Jose isn’t known for putting trust in young players, if he drops down the pecking order maybe he would like a reunion too. Probably not this summer but maybe January or next summer. Just an idea.

10th July 2026 at 2:57 pm #2501042 senior players have left the club.
Both title winners.
A wide attacker and a centreback.
We’ve brought in a wide attacker and a centreback both far less experienced than what left.
So in the most basic terms the squad number hasn’t changed and we seen how light the squad was last season.Who’s gonna be our right sided attacker starting the season in 6 weeks?
Who’s gonna be our right back? (The same question posed for most games last season)
That’s our right side of the team where major questions go unanswered. If we only needed 2/3 additions things would be much more manageable but we need much more than that.
So much to do, so little time.

10th July 2026 at 3:13 pm #250109Right back has gone very quiet.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I liked the idea of Jules Kounde. Someone that is experienced but not over the hill bur can also play CB. Rumour is he’s surplus at Barcelona and could be available for a cut back 43m.
Only very tentative links currently, but then he is still busy at the WC.
