Nine…I think Are is very underated. He is still young enough to develop more, never let City down when called upon. I would rather have kept him because I think Laporte will be the next to leave City, Christmas or end of season.. Sterling…good player but his time is up at City, if he goes. OK. if he stays OK but it will be difficult for him to get consistent game time with what we have and the probable re shape for the coming season.

I think Ake is a terrible player. Actually don’t see what people see in him. Very error prone. I heard we were in or him, hoping like mad we don’t take him

I think this season we will see Grealish step up. Pep said it would take a season.
Foxy, I’m the same not a huge fan of akes but I think sterling will be a huge hit with Chelsea

I’m ok with Sterling at 27 he should be at his peak and his not a bad player except for the diving issue, Aka I’m not too happy cause his not a top class player, gets a couple goals with his headers,but not defensively sound. Pity de Light prefers Germany but then suppose playing for Bayern you assured of a league title at least.

I wish we weren’t selling Sterling. He is top class but I agree with the philosophy if you want to go and the price is right off you go and all the best.
If Ake goes I think we will sign one more in addition to a left back

Ake has made a couple of mistakes which cost goals but hey…who has not….even Dias, Stones Laporte. and I dare say Van Dyke etc. I am leaving out Phil Jones!!!!!! He is OK and you have to remember he played out of position most of the time. At CB did nothing wrong on the few occasions he was used. Foxy he is a lot better than Evans

Nine….Rodney Marsh…one of the worst buys we ever made, however, that is his opinion but I think he is off the mark. He will be productive, if not he will soon be bench warmer. I would never have paid £100m for him though but will reflect on that at the end of the season.

Brian, have to completely disagree with you there. No way on any planet or league is Ake better than Evans!!! I didn’t rate him at Chelsea, nor when he was at Bournemouth. He’s done nothing at City where he has the best squad around him. Evans on the other hand has taken our defence to the next level. His absence these last 12 months are a major factor in our poor results. Ake is neither a leader in defence nor a bastian in stability. Evans is both of those

Jonny Evans has been a terrific signing by Leicester given what they paid for him
He may not be the quickest but his positional play and his defensive nous has made up for that the problem is that he is very injury prone and at 35 next birthday that situation is unlikely to get any better and the Leicester defence is extremely vulnerable even sometimes when he plays.
Centre back is an area that Leicester badly need to strengthen in the Summer and it’s a difficult area to do that.

Brian, beauty nearly always is in the eyes of the beholder. I think City fans are a far better judge of City players than anyone else because they watch them in every one of their games.

I’m a huge fan of Jonny Evans. He was massively underrated by opposition fans whilst at Utd and often deemed not good enough. In the end Van Gaal didn’t rate him but there’s a reason that decision left Ferguson shocked. Really wished we’d made more of an effort to keep him or get him back. With that said, I do like Ake. I think he’ll be decent for Chelsea

I was also surprised when Utd let him go, I thought he was a Utd type player, whatever that means but some players seem to fit clubs. I think he had a few injuries but nothing that would have downgraded his play.Not the quickest but very few CBs are

I know you will all tell me off about my press paranoia but here goes anyways.
Chelsea are making significant signings and good luck to them and no problem with that. But when we buy a player there is comment always about “big spending Manchester City”. Chelsea, also a big spender, and no problem with that, no comment about the big spending. It just annoys me but you know my paranoia! 🤐_____________________________

Thing is Nine the reason I make such comments is because I just get cross. As I said any club can spend what they want AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THAT. Its the London press reaction that annoys me.
It is a brocken record I agree. Just hits a nerve. Daft as it sounds its the same reaction when I hear certain politicians lie. Hits the same nerve.But never mind that hope you are doing OK. Covid seems rife again. A few of my colleagues in local Citizens Advice office are down with it. Interestingly none of them had previously had it even though fully vaccinated.
