I didn’t realise the Gunners only fared 25% in possession!! Clearly they tried to nullify PSG and hold on to a 1-0 lead. Can’t deny they’ve hardly been pretty to watch, but in terms of the League, they got over the line and are Champions whether the rest of us like it or not.

PSG victory is a win for football and the way it should be played over a season.
With regard to tonight’s game. After Arsenal scored early, it understandable why they played a low block. Make no mistake it was one piece of quality play in the second half that resulted in their penalty. Until then Arsenal were comfortable. If they’d had tried to go toe to toe with PSG they’d be hammered.
Let’s all just rejoice that even though they weren’t great PSG got the job done

I don’t get the excessive movement of arms and animation re Arteta. Let the players breathe!! Definitely a low light in football if we’re reviewing the season their behaviour towards set pieces with all the grappling, shirt pulling and grabbing of players. Gabriel’s facial expressions for any physical contact towards him.

Gerrard in commentary even mentioned something about Raya needing treatment suspectedly to buy Arteta time to speak to his players around a ‘drinks break’.

It’s not really something to be proud of and fans of other teams I’m sure have picked up on this.
