What are the 2 unfancied sides that Maureen won trophies with, if you talking about Porto and Inter 2 of the biggedt clubs in Europe and that means in the world. It’s great too manage top clubs you can hardly go wrong for 2 years but sooner or later you get exposed.

Moos, to be fair there were much bigger Clubs at the time with much bigger budgets competing for the CL when Jose led both Porto and Inter to their CL wins.

for sure but if he reads he wasnt first choice and turns out to be true that wont sit well with the man and his Ego and before you start there is strain between him and Levy that will bubble along until….BOOM! the usual

to be fair much of this is wishful thinking on my part in case the old Jose turns up and becomes special again and raises the spuds to far and even puts a trophy or 2 in their cabinet (once they build one) 🙂

Sure some decent players, but anywhere near the level of the current City team or Pep’s Bayern? Nowhere near that strong IMO. Look at their spending those years too compared to the top sides in Europe

Ya, Chelsea are a very dark horse for the title. They can’t be ignored, no matter what people say. I don’t write Leicester off but Chelsea have better players, who are loving their football now. As time goes on, they will likely get even better but you could say the same about Leicester, with Rodgers.

I don’t write either out of the title race, not for a second. I feel the media are just bloody ignoring them, which is kinda daft because they are both ahead of City.

Waspy-Dont know which Lesta are you watching,fella?This Leicester football club are extremely well organised & difficult to break down.Yes of course they can fade,any team can,but they are very well drilled and have some classy players,the top striker in the league,and a manager that knows his trade.

Rodgers does know how to get the best out of his team, attacking wise. He plays a nice high tempo game and can definitely tell his team how best to get goals from great strikers. Vardy is in my FPL team and I bet he stays there for the rest of the season.

Fair do’s, puppy, like I said, I haven’t watched any other than the one I mentioned. Might be watching this weekend though, and yes, I’ll be cheering for the other team in the first of this seasons “Sugar-Daddy-Derby” match-up! No offense, but this season is now all about cheering for whoever your lot and Foxy Ladies are playing!!! Of course, depends how Saturday lunchtime in Stratford works out… 🙂

Mav, I watched Leicester againest Utd and they were poor. Liverpool should have hopped off them and 2-1 was very kind to them.

Their winning games they should be.
