I just don´t believe the reports and the only thing that could happen to convince me that Slot is staying is another contract offer for him, he got roughly one year left on his contract and I actually think that something like 10-15k fans would stop showing up if he was offered a new contract.
The only two supporters for him online are on this forum, everybody else wants him out.

I think the journalists are basically reporting things as they stand. I think up until relatively recently, the club wanted to give Slot another season. But even they must now be realising this is untenable. Obviously they wouldn’t want to broadcast that they’re talking to other managers whilst there are still 2 games of the season to go.

John Henry actually tweeted something the other day about the club, first time he has spoken out in 5 years or something about not ignoring the fans and working harder.

That to me suggest to me that he is not happy with the way we limped out of every competition this season, he is very careful with his words.

Management knows there will be a uproar if they gave him a new contract, it’s not like he has used his time to endear himself to the fans or city and a manager with a one year contract knows whether he is getting a extension or not.
I give Salah the credit for the title last season, he made sure that the whole team played to his strengths last season. Even with the contract negotiation itself, he forced his way of playing on the whole team.
Slot just sat back and gave the lads some extra days of, that was his whole input on the season and then it got worse, way worse. He is almost forcing Salah out!

the odds on Enrique joining just dropped to 7/2, he is top of the charts and I think he is our main contender. I don´t give a fuck about the game. I can´t be bothered to watch no goals and a set piece go on for months.
Sebastian Hoeness stands at 9/2 and I reckon he would be our 2nd bet. Iraola at 4/1 is also a shout but I think that is only because of Hughes and I doubt he has much say about this kind of decision even if he might be asked about a opinion.
I remember that interview I found somewhere with Enrique when it came to light that he did not wanna continue in Paris, he really praised the premier league and called it out to be the most exciting league in the world right now. He also really praised the fans, he wanted to work with the fans by the sound of it.
I presume Slot is a dead man walking, otherwise he would be getting a new contract, there is no point in giving a assistant manager a long term contract while Slot has one year on his. We got the least coaches of any club in the league right now, the scouting department is fully stocked, the data analysts are also fully stocked.

ginger the only way I see victory here is if Salah manages to take control of the whole locker room for his final game and all the lads listen to his game plan and not Slot´s, of course Slot will sabotage his efforts by naming the wrong lineup but I still got hope that the lads will listen to Salah instead of Slot!
I don´t wanna name the players that I think might sabotage Salah´s plan but they should be pretty obvious to name! We just have to look at who has agreed with Mo and not at this stage!

League is up for grabs now with pep going. The lack of world class players and world class managers in the pl is staggering. Not to take anything away from Arsenal achievements but its the worse pl campaign ive ever watched. So many nil all draws. I couldn’t name 5 truly world class players in the pl now
Standard of football was terrible. Refs/var/ set plays just horrendous stuff. On top of that you had a Liverpool team who just were a disgrace. No appetite to run or fight for the badge
I actually tuned into Scottish league last few weeks. Poor standard again but pure passion from fans and players. Hearts so unlucky.

For months Ive been asking myself who is the stand out attacker this season across the league.
Were now down to the last game of the season and the best I can come up with is Semenyo???I think by Feb/March there was more 0-0 draws in the league any of the previous seasons.
Its been a poor league.

Thats it ginger. You look at the standard 15-20 years ago. The amount of world class players in the league. Look at carraghers and nevilles pl teams of the year. Mediocre players in there
Timber, saibla and gaberial are very good defenders
The liverpool team that challenged city was up there as one of the best. Alongside the great city, utd, chelsea and arsenal teams. Only for we were up againest the best city team and best pl team ever. In europe Madrid had won 5 finals in a row. We were so unlucky. Mad points we had.
That team was phenomenal. Won 25 out of 26 gamesin 19/20 season. Unreal football
Now i look at the league and its so poor. Tactics of passing around the back for nothing. Centre backs have the highest possession stats. Free for all at corners. Some decisions not given even when they go to var is laughable. Football is being ruined now. Its dreadful to watch st times, i hardly watched any of the league bar us this season. Boring as fuck
