Not yet Sean. It hasn’t been updated. If Chiesa does come in one would expect it to at the expense of Danns as we already have 6 forwards registered.

6th October 2025 at 1:47 pm #2280429 day or so wait now until we play and it’s guess who at Anfield. Hope for our internationals to avoid of course any injuries and set back in fitness.

7th October 2025 at 8:24 am #228057Why did Liverpool even buy Kerkez, they must have good younger players in their academies.

7th October 2025 at 8:47 am #228058Kerkez is a very good LB that bombs forward and overlaps, getting the ball in the box. Bags of energy and aggressive too.
He’s not being used like that at Liverpool, instead holds back and is asked to be more involved in slow build up, not what he is good at. So yeah why did Liverpool buy him if not playing him to his strengths? I’ve asked this already a few times along with Frimpong and the use of Bradley.
Let him do what he’s good and you’ll see a different player altogether but that means adjustment elsewhere, mainly midfield, which so far hasn’t happened. The fullbacks were my concerns during the summer and sadly those are looking justified.
Tactically the team is all over the place, wrong players in wrong roles and big gaps with little or no cover.

7th October 2025 at 1:35 pm #228067Agree threeps, he was the best left full in pl last season. Tactics are killing him and tye rest of the team
Theres to many changes especially in midfield. No cohesion , grav , szobo have to start. Macca is not playing well. He is not fit but continues to play and hes getting worse. So its szobo, grav and one more. There looks like there was no plan for writz.
10 games in and we have had 3 right fulls. Bradley constantly getting booked. Szobo is not a right full. We have two really in form players who need to start. Eitike and chiesa
Its just so much change in personnell and i really think we will struggle in large parts this season. Just astounded at some of our displays. We look awful at times. So fragile and open. Losing battles all over the pitch. Chaos at the end if games were you have no idea what the shape is.
So many players out of form and manager tactics not on point. Im really hoping this break helps us but ten games in and we are getting worse by the game. Still in absolutely great position. If we stop conceding goals, we be fine but we just concede far to many chances every game

7th October 2025 at 2:04 pm #228069Agree that Grav and Szobo have been our 2 best players this season (Allison also) but note that both players ended up in the back line in the last game.
That’s a managerial decision.
As is playing MacA for virtually the entire game. For some reason, into his 2nd season, there are several squad players the manager still doesnt trust fully.

7th October 2025 at 2:51 pm #228072When you pull grav into the backline we miss him in the middle same as szobo. Trust the players in the correct positions
Use Gomez.

7th October 2025 at 4:56 pm #228074Sean i agree, we cant keep using midfielders in defence! Weve really only got 1 major injury(allison hopefully back after the International break plus good backup) and for some reason it feels as if weโre in a crisis!
I just posted my views on the crystal palace game.. youre only as strong as your weakest link and konates play, errors, getting bullied and positional sense is having a major affect on the whole team! God what i would do for a fit matipโฆ bar the galatasray game we have scored in pretty much 40 plus games priorโฆ we are scoring goals, but konate and our fullbacks are not helping!
In preseason i mentioned my views on kerkez, i didnt see anything great(looked slow and sluggish), connors been poor since Real last season and frimpongs atm is like pingpong he getting hit left right and centre cus hes too tiny and physically weak!
Speaking of preseason, i mentioned mac is liverpools best player, i think ive jinxed him ๐ hes getting bypassed too easily and is not taking responsibility in midfield!

8th October 2025 at 9:49 am #228100We know the performances will improve because last year thought us that slot will adapt his game and is not rigid in playing style or system.
We are going through player and playing style changes, and in one way it feels unnecessary….after all we won the title last season….so rince and repeat, right?
But what the club did this summer was so important for the future of the team.
Try signing players like wirtz and Isak when you are finishing fifth, out of Europe and van Dijk and Salah are retired!
We strengthened from a position of strength. Good.
We did however once again leave ourselves short in defence but I guess they thought the deal was done and a defender will now come in January. But simple question, is Ekitike an upgrade on Nunez? I had great time for Nunez but for whatever reason he wasn’t getting better for us was he. So yes. So far Ekitike, with a calmness to his finishing, is an upgrade.
We all saw lb as a problem last season and as much of a legend as Robbo is, we could see him slowing and making defensive errors. Signing Kerkez while retaining Robbo was a no brainer. Kerkez is not an upgrade on Robbo, but perhaps the natural successor.
Wirtz was the right move for us to make and we can see signs of his creativity. Recent games have seen him and Salah being effectively nullified by having zero time and space on the ball, we really need more control in midfield,( so need to see more composure from Mac and Grav), and wirtz needs to develop playing relationships with our forwards. Criticism for wirtz at this early point is plain daft and we shouldn’t be adding to it.
Frimpong and Isak are perhaps more of a puzzle.
We will see in time if they were signed to suit the team or if the numbers guys have forced them on Slot.
I still maintain that a 4,1,2,1,2 will perhaps see us at our best with these players and stop us getting chocked out wide up front. One thing we can all agree on though is that’s it’s probably time to let Chiesa out of his shackles. If he gets injured well then at least he will have a reason for not playing. Because on form he has to start.

8th October 2025 at 1:46 pm #228108Fulcrum, very good points, in regards to building on a position of strength! Wirtz is an upgrade on Elliot (physically imposing himself) and every other player bought in has a good back up to help if form goes down(maybe left wing is an issue).
Players need time to settle, the medias on our backs already โ500 mill ยฃs spent, 100m player here 100 million player thereโโฆ lost 2 league games and we might as well shut up shop and all go home! As liverpool fans it should be in our blood to support players through thick and thinโฆ i supported nunez up until till the day he left, heck i even did the same with keita, as long as they give 100% on the pitch!
The players need timeโฆ to come good, slots already won the league last year so thats his get out of jail card for this season!
I doubt we will retain the league, but as long as players settle and are there or there abouts we might still get a few cups come seasons end and kick on the following season!

8th October 2025 at 4:45 pm #228114I think this dip was expected especially with the amount of signings. I reckon itโs actually good that we have these signing a as it will give them time to bed in and get used to each other, Salah and Van Dijk are not hear for too long so they will be helping with the new signings. These new signing a are our future so getting that balance will take time.

That SEVEN yellow cards heโs got this season for club and country.
We know what Slot usually does soon after a player has been carded, particularly his full backs._____________________________

14th October 2025 at 6:04 am #228228The problem Bradley has is that Salah doesn’t help out defensively. You saw it versus Chelsea when they repeatedly targeted that flank and scored their winner when Cucurella overloaded and was free. He’s bound to pick up yellows when targeted all the time, and he’s a player better known for hisnoffensive work rather than defensive.

14th October 2025 at 7:33 am #228230Before someone comes on here to say Bradley wasn’t on the pitch when Chelsea scored, my point was more how teams target that side no matter who plays there. Plus you have Konate rather than VvD that side too.
