We know not many players have had good seasons this year however in comparison to other Prem league centrebacks…
Virgil van Dijk…
1st in aerial duals won.
1st in forward passes completed
1st in accurate passes into final third
1st in total passes completed
1st in headed goalsHe’s highly likely to break his appearance record for Liverpool in a season with 2 more games and could possibly break his goal scoring record in a season with 1 more goal.
Like Salah he’s not having his best season measured against his own standards but against the rest of league both he and Salah are still right up there.

Ginger I think this supposed drop off that Salah has had this season is not because he is getting older, itΒ΄s the tactics. Every time he plays with a smile on his face he usually scores or assists still. He has come in more clutch than 95% of the wingers in the league, I still think he will keep on playing for another 3-4 years at least and I doubt he is prepared to go to the Saudi league. I think he will stay in Europe and find a Champions League team somewhere. Most likely go back to Italy, where I reckon he would thrive again.

Runour is Alonso is being lined up to take over at Chelsea and even if not he won’t be manager at Liverpool next season.
The old coach vs manager thing is doing the rounds, Xabi wants full control which he won’t get under Edwards and Hughes, but at the moment it’s just Internet talk..

Rob, I do concur with that last part haha as my own perceptions of him.
I don’t know anything about his background, albeit he just rocked up as Chelsea ‘Manager’.
Leicester’s situation absolutely dire too.
Makes us think in many ways we are blessed. People out there with their online reporting predicting what may happen do get ahead of themselves when the reality is that none of us know. To let go of Slot as well means a hefty pay-out which I’m sure the club would rather not take a hit for.
Ultimately for me, it’s about where we finish in the League and where we then go from there.

I wanna voice one opinion here, Leicester City were relegated because of a 6 point reduction because of financial irregularities. We are still waiting on the verdict for the 115 charges after 3 years. How the league can punish one club and not another is corruption!
