No doubt about it mate. Some fucking whoppers over the years but that just makes it even more impressive for me what he was able to win. You also have to say he signed some gems. Would love a transfer window this January like the one when we added Evra and Vidic for about £15M quid. Every player we sign these days i am expecting to flop one way or the other.

I have absolutely no doubt that Fergie signed some total and complete whoppers, Eric “so good they named him twice” Djemba-Djemba for one springs to mind, Kleberson another, Taibi, the list goes on.

Just watching the u18s against Derby and I’ve noticed this on several previous occasions, the players seem reluctant to pass to JJ Gabriel. He’s almost starved of the ball when it’s obvious the lad is on a completely different level to the rest. Whether it’s jealousy or that he’s a bit of a twat and the others don’t like him I don’t know. But it’s not good, especially when he looks like the only one likely to come through.

@jumpers, I don’t think he will, not because he’s not able but he’s been sold down the river by the board. Every single good player he’s had has been sold, Olise, Eze, Guehi and Wharton will be gone in the summer. He’s thrown in the towel I think and really, although it’s unprofessional, who could blame him? Is he a good manager? Yes. Should we be looking at him? Yes. Should he get the job? No more than anyone else at this stage.

Shame about Dorgu just when he started to really settle nd deliver .. he has also helped locked down that Left flank and kept helping out lardy Luke by constantly tracking back and covering for him whenever he drifted from his left back position.

Shea Lacey needs to be given 10-20 minutes here and there to see what he can do. Gutted about Dorgu who I thought was an absolute bust. Turns out he’s just not a defender. Heaven as well has impressed me. We really aren’t that far away from having a definite top 4 team, even when the league gets stronger, as it surely must.

Hopefully Dorgu only out for a few weeks. Means Cunha can slot in now on that left wing. We don’t need to be as defensive as we were against City and Arsenal now with the games we have coming up. Hopefully time for those forwards to shine and improve our goal difference a lot over the next 5 games.
