Great comeback indeed Adlab but why are you needing to make comebacks recently? Something not right in the defensive setup?

I reckon Liverpool might just be alright, as most of us insisted after Monday 😁

Ours was a poor game. Ten Hag won’t be happy with that. No idea how McTominay wasn’t a handball. We should have had a pen too with a clear handball in the first half when those 3 shots were all blocked one after the other. Clear handball which wasn’t even looked at by VAR. Really don’t understand the handball rule at all these days. Lovely goal by Bruno anyway.

What I don’t understand about the Mctominay penalty is why VAR didn’t give it. Is it a change in attitude towards stupid handball penalties. If so I’m in favour of it.
Why are we letting so many goals in? Imo lack of concentration. Pep will fix this.
She hulk, I assume that’s Haarland, is your classic viking. But he does know where the goal is.
Gomez looked OK too. Three good younger players brought in. Haarland, Alvarez, and Gomez. Then there is Philips who has yer to feature.

Boy is Haaland good. So quick, so strong, so good in control, so deadly a finisher. As soon as the ball goes through to him on goal, you know it’s in a la Van Nistelrooy, Henry, etc.

I really found yesterday afternoon refreshing thanks to the 3pm games. Thank you to Radio 5 for great coverage – made my afternoon at work go quicker.

We’re so used to seeing the big teams instantly taken off 3pm and straight into the TV scheduling. Of course, it’s a revenue generator, but in the same breath, it breaks away the norm of the routine we’re so used to because the way the itinerary is nowadays even with the occasional Friday Evening Game. Definitely makes MOTD more worthwhile, when we have a more defined 3pm run of matches 🙂
