GJ- HH are close to eachother. I wonder if myself and Sean are too? Would be very weird if we were 500m away from eachother also.

I’m in Cork City North anyway myself. I cant even remember where Seany boy is. I think he said Cork on time but… I’ve the worst memory ever.

And Ya Nil, it’s kinda understandable from my own biased perspective. I don’t think the neutrals wanted to see a quadruple either and you can definitely be forgiven for being pleased that city went out. When I saw it though, I have to say, it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

City scored and I was annoyed that they were gonna go through. They celebrated for a good while, only to have it pulled back. Right as the call was, I immediately thought of how difficult it would be for me to accept that, were it Liverpool in their shoes. So my annoyance very quickly dissolved and turned into a kinda sense of foreboding, with regards to VAR and strong empathy.

it shouldn’t happen that way and over the coming years, VAR will just have t do better but the thing is, we’re gonna see this kinda thing now and even thought I’m very pro-VAR, this is a very dark side to it.

In all the mess though, I’m not sure I credited Spurs enough. It takes serious balls to beat a team like City over 2 legs. I am not going to fall into the trap that the media are dishing out. The winner of the CL might well not come from our side of the draw.

It will be a massive shock should Spurs go on to win the CL, personally don’t think they deserve it due to too many average performances. On the other hand City have played great throughout the tournament and have been extremely unlucky. So it’s go Barca.

Of course I would have loved it if United won the CL, but the way the team perform, it’s more than ok they crashed out.
I’m happy to see City out as well. I’d hate it if they or PSG had won it.

On the other hand I think it’s fantastic to see Spurs and especially Ajax in the semis. Spurs have spend peanuts compared to the likes of City, PSG and United. And Ajax? An average age of 12 or something like that? Knocking out Real and Juventus. It would be a win for football itself if Ajax win the CL.

Liverpool and Barcelona are great clubs as well. Should be two cracking games. I think Liverpool can beat them over two legs, but there’s always Messi.
