Most top teams dropped points except for Hammers and City, I am not going to worry about City dropping points cause I expect them to win it anyway so really only West Ham gained on us but I expect them to fall away a bit as the season progresses.

MistraMistrsa, we created plenty of opportunities (not chances) we didn’t take them and that is an issue, I very much doubt it’s down to lack of training, but more lack of execution on the day, after all there’s a vast difference in practice than under pressure in a game.
As for its unlucky when you shoot and it’s off target but poor finishing when it’s off target by a larger amount, please explain, if it’s not on target then you’ve executed your attempt inaccurately to one degree or another.

Cesar Azpilicueta’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season, and for that reason, it’s been said that he could join Barcelona for free next summer.
So Eduardo Inda now comes up to say that move isn’t happening, simply because the Blues won’t allow that.
The journalist says Chelsea have a unilateral option to extend Azpilicueta’s contract for one year. It’s said they will trigger that and keep him as their captain. 😊

I’m reading that all is rosy in the garden at Stamford Bridge at the moment with several key players returning to the training. While there were no injuries reported in this round of international football. Werner, Lukaku, Alonso and Mount are all said to have returned to full training, although, there was no mention of Kovacic’s fitness whereabouts. Hope he returns before the United game, untill his injury he has been our best player and the best in midfield. Also Pulisic and Kante returned from international duty unscathed. Havertz is also fine.

No signs of Lukaku taking part in full training over the last couple of days YB. Squads looking stronger though. We’ll have to wait and see what Tuchel says about Lukaku today he’s been running but seemingly not training fully.

““I can tell you Mateo and Romelu are still out for the game against Leicester tomorrow,” the German said during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“Romelu is very close to [joining] team training, so hopefully he will join the squad on Sunday.”

……the good news though is that we’re getting there on the injury front very which is important given the run of games to come and Tuchel used the squad wisely during the injury crisis he didn’t complain and looked for solutions in the squad.

Close to the best performance of the season. I was quite surprised how sharp we were and so dominant over what I saw as an inform quality Leicester side. Long may it continue. I’m a little wary of United minus OGS as they will instantly rediscover their quality and form. West Ham coming up will really show how far we have come in my opinion. Having said that Wolves just beat them so it is very hard to draw a line through some clubs’ form from one week to the next. Two extremes our performances against Burney and then Leicester. The two week break seems to have energised our lads notwithstanding the absence of many on International dutyI think others that were rested injured or not gained the full benefit and it showed.
