Actually while you were jizzing in your pants about our summer window… i was actually complaining that we are a defender and another central midfielder short.
I would still give the coach money, no doubt, if hes the manager next season! Our squad needs investment! We cant start next season without the players/areas ive mentioned in the transfer thread.
Ive not seen this game, but like the previous game, weve just got too many injuries atm. Qualify for champions league and then decide what needs to be done over the summer.
Im not a child threeps, just because ive a different mentality or bought up with a different mindset to you, doesnt mean i cant see whats happening currently. while you/some just look at tactics and style, others might look at players, form and confidence. I believe both play a major part and with that in mind ive mentioned in my last message weve not put our strongest team all season… thats a major reason why weve not played the football we should have, or more impressive get the results.
Will see the game and let you know what i think, i already know we must have been shite, deffo with the likes of wirtz, salah and isak missing.

We cant defend, we are far to open in midfield, we create feck alll chances, no intensity, we ate so poorly coached

Everyone’s entitled to their view on Slot, but the real issue is the entire ownership and management structure of LFC.
FSG have had their big season review, but whatever conclusion they’ve reached, the same problem remains: accountability at this club gets passed around like a hot potato.
When these meetings happen, it must look like a bunch of hedgehogs trying to do the conga…everyone keeping the next one at arm’s length, terrified of getting pricked by the spike of accountability.
Slot keeps saying he knows the issues and how to fix them… but hasn’t.
Morale is on its backside, the group looks broken, the tactics are mind numbing, and the players are miles off the fitness levels expected of Liverpool.
These are his responsibilities.Hughes and Edwards have turned into ghosts.
The signings look bonkers in hindsight, Isak shouldn’t have been bought, especially with Ekitike already in the door. No winger to cover Diaz. No proper squad building out. Contracts running down again. And ultimately, keeping Slot in place far too long.
They’ve dodged the spike of accountability too.And FSG… who even knows what they do anymore?
If you were a cold‑hearted businessman watching your asset lose its best players, letting elite contracts run down, paying £16m in wages for Chiesa to play ten minutes a match at best, and seeing fan sentiment collapse, you’d surely be furious your asset is losing its positive points and ultimately, value.Instead, they’ve stayed silent and avoided the spike of accountability just like everyone else.

Hopefully as the day progresses, I’ll feel better. Living with anxiety and depression, this isn’t really doing my any favours. The man is deluded and he needs to go.
I feel like I’m so done with this. Every weekend feels miserable, even last Saturday for example. This is May with Spring Sunshine. We’re supposed to feel good about ourselves and Football too.
Hopefully, the FA Cup Final a little bit later brings a little joy.

Simple, we needed a trust worthy defender to rest or take konate out of the firing line. Hes been poor this season. We needed a midfielder to replace macalister who’s been also really poor compared to previous seasons.

theyve hardly played with each other all season. Ive already explained that the whole right side has been either injured or missing. Fine example no salah and weve not won the last 3 games. We need investment and a clear out of the many players slot will not use (chiesa, endo, gomez, curtis, harvey, tsimikas).

moonster I am gonna correct you on that statement of yours, there is only one collective call to make on Slot and that is to sack him. No other opinions allowed!
He is so full of shit, I can´t remember a head coach as confident as Slot was before this game, he knew all all our problems and all the ways to fix them.
Yet our striker had 4 touches in the box the whole game, we could not score from open play yet again, our only threat is from set pieces and Slot has nothing to do with those set pieces. We do not even have a set pieces coach at the club so all those goals are just because of Szobo.

Sorry if it came over that I wanted Slot to stay, I absolutely dont…not one bone in my body suggests to me he’ll turn it around. The fans have turned and so have the players…hes toast.
My point really was a collective one, Slot needs to go, but Edwards and Hughes wont fire the gun, FSG then need to step up and fire Edwards and Hughes for not doing so. But,rumour has it, its FSG thats not willing to sign off on the Alonso deal.
But, there was a meeting in the US yesterday and again today, this was allegedly bought forward due to the Chelsea interest in Alonso…
Whats going to happen is anyone’s guess, but id be phoning Stevie G to get us across the line,and then having Alonso next season.
