Couldn’t agree more w.r.t the reffing but would also add the usual ability to overlook general fouling on LFC players while instantly awarding free kicks to the oppo. Willingness to hand out yellows to us also a feature e.g. Trey wrestled off the ball around halfway (ref ignores foul), Forest player runs into Araujo, who’s a bit bigger and stands his ground: instant free and yellow.
My son and I used to bemoan the change and inconsistent refereeing approaches from game to game; now it takes place within the same game, largely to our disadvantage
