Could have been a lot worse with the course of events. Delap’s throw basically caught us out and Allison had to commit. I was thinking in some instances, the keeper can even be shown a Red (unless I’m mistaken).
Jacquet was maxed out poor guy. I like him. Again, this is down to what I’ve pointed out yesterday, the full-backs are unreliable and at fault. We really need to get this unit singing off the same hymn sheet otherwise this will only place pressure on Allison and he himself is on twilight/sunset mode.
Shame our first goal turned out to be offside. I would stress with a lot of positivity considering what happened at Spurs and what is going on with Spurs, we ‘ve turned out a lot better from our own first 2 matches and not defeated.
