Let me be clear about what I said about Jacquet.
It was in relation to the definitive statement made by a poster that he was clearly the best partner for VVD, which was offered without context or explanation.
The facts are he’s been on the pitch when 4 goals have been conceded in 2 games. Zero goals have been conceded when another partner has been on the pitch. We know how much the person who made the definitive statement loves facts.
My position on who the best partner for VvD is?…….we dont know yet.
There hasn’t been anywhere enough football played with either partner.
Both Jacquet and Araujo both look like good players albeit different.
It very very early for either of them in a Liverpool shirt to make any definitive statements.
