JM – Ha ha the crackpipe is very under-rated mate! I think a lot of these sums of money are being splashed around to avoid FFP rules. Some Sky reporter was saying that swap deals don’t work very well with FFP. But If Rogers goes to Chelsea and then Garnacho goes to Villa the same money works for both clubs in a positive way for FFP. Delap going for £50m to Forest probably means Chelsea will over pay for a player from the Forest owners Greek club. Or Villa will over pay for a player from Strasbourg – just ways of moving money around that seem “legit”.
It’s all corruption.
