Was it not £7M plus £7M in add ons? Think he is decent and some think he has a future. They put a sell on and buy back clause in the deal too. When you take that money plus the other bits they got in from sell ons etc, the net spend this summer must be like £60M at most. Crazy that we’ve decided to stop spending when we have CL money and a new record training kit sponsor deal. If others around us push on this year we’ll struggle to get CL football next year even if we add Berge and a LB late in the window.
