Rob, I’d say selling Luis Díaz against Slot’s wishes played a big factor in him failing in his second season. And even worse, not replacing him with another similar top-quality winger meant we missed Díaz’s world-class output considerably.
Apparently Hughes was after Isak or Barcola last summer, but decided on Isak, and look at how that turned out.
