Well Amorim was playing Casemiro and Bruno in central midfield and getting over run each week, or so i was told. Carrick came in and brough Mainoo in next to Casemiro and we immediately had more control, Casemiro improved and Mainoo looked very classy on the ball. As for Tuchel, he got a lot of things wrong this summer and 1 of them was not playing Mainoo when he wanted to get hold of the ball – i think most pundits agreed with that.
Anyway we’ve got options now with Tielemans and if we bring in another midfielder we’re much better stocked there than we were last season aren’t we?
There must be something in the Tchouaméni rumours? Obviously we are waiting to see if there’s a deal to be done with him before moving onto the likes of Sandra!
