I was the one predicting a big spend or the sale of the club, it was either one before the summer. Klopp stepping down etc. made me feel that either FSG were gonna commit again or sell. We had the lowest net spend of any top club around Europe almost. We still got a low net spend compared to other clubs so I´m pretty sure we will see another 400 million window. Don´t put that on moonster even though we shared a few opinions during the last year or so. I don´t think Henry wants to sell the club anymore, I think he has figured out that we are the crown jewel kind off in their whole enterprise. With bigger potential then the Red Sox.
I´m not worried about Slot, Hughes or Edwards, they are short term solutions to a long term project and you lads can argue all you want with moonster and his contacts but you have to admit some of it actually makes sense when you connect the dots. Whether a decision has been made or not is up for speculation but all interested parties are talking right now about the future of the club.
There is a big decision coming in the next week or month, the board needs to back Slot with a new contract and get new coaches in to back him or schedule a taxi for him. There are only two options left on the board, back him or sack him.
Henry has been ruthless with our managers, the only one he has fully backed is Klopp, everyone else has gotten the sack. Even Daglish!
