But it certainly looks like a contract is close, I would actually compare him a bit to Gomez, they have had very similar careers except Joe broke down at Ibou age.
Just at the time he was starting to be able to command the defense, that’s the one thing I wanna see from Konate. He needs to step up into that leadership role.
Cause a center half only capable of taking orders is not that good actually, we need two bosses at the back who command everyone around the box in my opinion.
I think Ibou is finally at that stage and is only about to become better, if I would compare him to another French defender it would be a young Desailly.
