Who sacks Slot and recruits his replacement? Normally it would be Hughes, but there’s serious question marks over him. So go above Hughes and its his mate Edwards who recruited Slot in the first place and also has question marks over him.
Then you have managers ljkely not wanting to work in such a DoF structure. Both have 18 months on their contracts I believe.
So any Slot decision could need to come from above Edwards and would severely undermine both Edwards himself and the hierarchical structure they installed.
Basically it’s looking messy.
