Bad luck to lose Adrian too. Message for the football gods, please spare some bad luck for city this season. Would love see them forced to actually play carson in prem. 🙂 no offence city fans, only need luck because you are so damn good.

Yeah sean I agree re-kovacic. In todays market, especially with the transfer ban he was worth the 40m we paid on option to buy him, but I think as Ruben and mount establish themselves Kovacic will find himself back up to Jorginho, with Kante and one of Mount, Ruben or Barkley completing the midfield.

He is a good mid to have in a possession based team, can receive the ball well under pressure, beat his man and switch the play, but he is not defensively sound and is not a threat to goal either. Ruben and mount’s numbers as the games stack up will make it impossible for Kovacic to be a starter in a few months imo. I am happy we have him in squad though.

Had to check this site out today after wide spread reports of a nuclear meltdown last night 🙂

Very pleased to find an active general page and respect to the pool fans on here who showed so much respect and class to the chelsea fans last night.

Fantastically entertaining game I thought, and as chelsea fan, all things considered, I am just delighted we managed to give you the game we did.
