I wouldn’t be too hasty, Sweedy, this is heading into one of those weird “Leicester” type seasons… nobody other than Pool is showing any real consistancy, everybody is taking points of each other, your lot are only two wins out of CL places with 26 games to play… not what I would call impossible by a long shot.

I think 1-1 was fair, Onana I felt was certainly the busier of the two keepers… but what do the YooUtd boys think? They cerainly hustled a bit more than usual I felt, even Rashford showed up for the first 90 seconds… 🙂

Don’t think any Spud fancies our chances much for the title, even before a ball was kicked, but the cups is another story… I don’t think its blinkered to say we would fancy our chances against anybody in “cup” game, all about the luck of the draw and Super Micky’s hamstrings… (think we have another Micky Owen here!)….
As for the 115, it’s certainly re-build time… I couldn’t believe how easy Werner got around Walker for the 4th goal… can’t think of any occassions I’ve seen Walker betean that easily… but the big question is, who would sign when they still have the threat of relegation hanging over them… I can’t see it being sorted out before the Jan transfer window.

What can I say? Been saying all season our points total hasn’t really been a true reflection on our performances, especially the 0 points from the two games against the Goonies and Bone Saw Boyz…
As Waspy likes to point out, we are a bit open at the back, (absolutely gobsmacked Davies/Dragusin kept a clean sheet today)… but I think the biggest diffrence today, both Bossina and Sarr stayed very central with Madders floating, the team looking more like Poncho’s 4-2-3-1 rather than Aussie Ardiles full-blooded attack 4-3-3 (which looks more like 3-2-5 most of the time).
Maybe Angie is learning to be a bit flexible…

He’s starting to worry me a bit too, Waspy, have a feeling if we’re not top 6/7 by Christmas/New Year, we might be looking at a ne manager… the talent is there, and the chances are there… it’s just we’re so easy to play against…

The only thing debateable about the Spuds game is how many we’re going to lose by, as a contest it will be over inside the first 20 minutes.

And Cuti is out too… leaving us with Dragusin and Davies playing a highline against Haaland… if I was a 115 fan I’d be disappointted if we score less than 6 tomorrow… don’t think I’ll bother putting that one on the box… stick with the Sopranos…

Super Micky is an even bigger loss, Alfie, and despite for unknown reasons having a half decent record against the 115, be bloody surprised with a point, let alone 3…
Fully expect Wasplicker and The Rags (great name for an indie band!) to have their knieves out for him come Monday!
As for Bentancur… what a twat… but hasn’t been the same player he was before the ACL…
