For clarity, I was editing a post @ 3rd December 2018 at 2:00 pm and I added quite a lot to it. I forgot that it wasnt a fresh one as I was writing… so3rd December 2018 at 2:16 pm #28846
managers should be charged the moment they step out of the technical area. i think the klopp situation is one that supporters of them team will love and everyone else will criticise. if we had beaten arsenal in the 96th minute i would love it if poch ran on the pitch to celebrate. however it was liverpool and klopp and therefore he is a scumbag who can do one and i hope he gets charged by the police.3rd December 2018 at 2:21 pm #28847
It’s a silly rule, made even sillier by the lack of enforcement. During yesterday’s game at the hemorrhoid’s stadium, Emery was warned about leaving the “box”, so he walked back inside the box, and promptly turned around and walked straight back outside again… even the commentators on my TV were laughing…
Off course, being manager of the filth this should mean an automatic 58 game suspension and will be made to eat Pie & Mash for every meal until seasons end! 🙂3rd December 2018 at 2:21 pm #28848
“he did it in an away game at Norwich a while back too.”
To be clear, the while back was almost 3 years ago. All the time in between we have Klopp not running onto the pitch. How many times in those 3 years has Jose called into question the referees integrity? I don’t want to trawl through looking for that but you know it’s going to be a huge number, right?
I’m not saying that managers should be running onto pitches but we should be comparing apples to apples and even though you could rightly say that Klopp will break or ride close to breaking the rules sometimes, Jose is another kind of animal altogether.
The core of this for me is that I find any comparison between the 2 men, offensive.3rd December 2018 at 2:25 pm #28852
Pie sounds good now. You ****er.3rd December 2018 at 2:30 pm #28854
Mak, if Klopp is charged for running on the pitch as he did yesterday I suspect the FA will also take in to account his previous action be it 3 years ago or not.3rd December 2018 at 2:32 pm #28855
Micky, don’t forget the green stuff… 🙂3rd December 2018 at 2:45 pm #28856
Nine, they will but only to a point. They have ramped up the charges on Jose before, only for him to carry on regardless and things were forgotten again. This is talking about a nearly weekly situation for him, during his bad times. The guy has snowballed in his meltdowns throughout his various clubs. You want to talk about Klopp, well you should also admit that he’s not even close to being comparable to the “special” one.3rd December 2018 at 3:14 pm #28858
Mak, I don’t think I know I was over the speed limit but the bloke next door has been charged with being over the spped limit more times than me and he’s jumped red lights too counts as a defence. 🙂3rd December 2018 at 3:39 pm #28859
Well, that might apply if we were talking about a defence. We’re not though, we’re talking about the direct comparison between 2 individuals that Alfie made. How many times have a stated that I’m not defending Klopp? A few. I’ve been incredibly clear that it is the comparison between the 2 that I’m interested in.
If you wanted to go this route though we could edit your scenario a little and say “I got some parking tickets and they gave me the same sentence as my nextdoor neighbor, who is a serial pedophile”.
Now , tell me, are those 2 people comparable? They both committed offenses. it isn’t about one guy trying to get away with his parking tickets because his nextdoor neighbor diddles kids, it’s about him not wanting to be lumped in with the special one on the left.3rd December 2018 at 3:52 pm #28860
Klopp charged. Wait and see what the outcome is.
Mak – lets compare the two over the same period. Since Mourinho has been at Utd when has he questioned a referees integrity?3rd December 2018 at 4:13 pm #28863
I think it’s very irresponsible to let a dog drive, they can’t even look up…3rd December 2018 at 4:17 pm #28864
Mak, as Alfie has posted Klopp has been charged let’s wait and see the outcome.3rd December 2018 at 4:25 pm #28865
I did say yesterday quite early about Klopps – imo – histrionics. Its not the first time. Usually not on the pitch. I know you all wont agree but I think a lot of its for show and not just raw emotion. And I agree if it was Mourinho he would be slaughtered. The media are desperate for Liverpool to win something so they will come up with the usual excuses which Jose doesnt get and Im a City fan,3rd December 2018 at 4:27 pm #28866

I think Pax hit the nail on the head – home fans don’t see a problem, other fans do. Frankly, who cares? All I know is that I prefer my manager to show some passion when my team score rather than Rodgers one arm up in the air or Rafa’s head down in to his notebook, and as long as he doesn’t go and do a little jig in front of the oppo fans or do the Shhh motion (a la Mourinho at Wembley), then I don’t have a problem.
