Hi Sean, yes fees are crazy this summer. There is just so much money around these days that clubs don’t need to sell so prices go up. European clubs know how much money is in the PL and want in on that too. Utd used to get charged an extra £10m on transfers, now it seems everyone is!
If you think how skint Everton were a few seasons ago and now how much cash they are spending it highlights the change.
I can see release clauses being inserted into most deals now as it’s the only way a player can get a transfer these days.
