Congrats to United and the guys on here. Well done for your win. It was a good game if you’re a neutral and a United fan.
One or two positives in breaking the cycle of not scoring goals and showing a bit more fight in being able to come back, but we still have defensive issues.
Confidence still seems low on the pitch. Losing Van Dijk and not having a leader of a center half makes the difference. Klopp’s never really taken this competition too seriously. Maybe he deep down feels he doesn’t have a good enough depth or doesn’t as such trust. I would say he should have played Kelleher and Williams.
Next 2 games if ended in defeats would finish us and we’d be struggling for a Top 4 finish. Either we get the rumoured deals finalized this week or players next month come back from injury sooner than later or we can kiss this season goodbye.
Maybe the Champions League focus would be better suited to us, I don’t know at this moment in time. Good to see Fernandes yesterday come on, great attitude and generally a level-headed guy.

Agree Sean. It’s been very poorly handled. Also agree that Tuchel is a questionable appointment. There’s the German connection they’ve seemingly been after but I’m not sure he’s the man to take them back to the top

There’s a pattern though with certain types of Owners. I’m sure Man City would have done the same. Sure, they’ll splash the cash, but with that comes the condition that you hit the ground running and deliver results FAST.
He seems a straight up guy, but this move I’ve always said from the start was too soon for him. He needs a break from football and focus on his family. Good luck Frank.

Very disappointed. When Frank was appointed it was fully known by all in the Club he wasn’t the finished article he should have been given at least until the end of this season imo.
But Managers will always be judged by results no matter who they are and the Club will always be more important than anything else no matter who the Club is.
