Not looking forward to tonights game against the Seagulls… too mnay injuries (for both sides!)… really could go either way… hopefully we’ve got a bit more firepower than they do… just need to hang in there until the end of Jan when, hopefully, we’ll be back to something close to full strength again…

Ah ya that was just never a penalty for City. He has his hands in a natural position considering his movement and it’s absolutely belted at him. There’s no way for him to do a thing about that.
Not sure what refs are at these days but we should be tallying up their mistakes.
I don’t think refereeing in the game has ever been to a poorer standard._____________________________

They really need to use VAR to re-referee games.
That or stop refs getting paid by club owners for refereeing abroad.

I’d buy on the basis of returns of Haaland, Doku and De Bruyne of a resurge and rocket of an attack. Lots more away visits though in early new year.
If the others can keep up with their own momentum of wins up to 25/28 matches, that would really make up an interest final 10 games.
I don’t like to say this, but the Refereeing though looks in their favour and that’s one of the factors of them being a success.
No blame on Everton as they gave a good account of themselves and held up to that 53 minute.

Hmmm… 100% a shirt pull by the ginger ninja and a peno… but why wasn’t the same shirt pull on Son to stop him from clearing the ball about 0.01 seconds before that not count? You literally had two shirt pulls within 0.01 seconds within 2m of each other?

How are Brighton not 3-0 up here? Having a field day with Spurs’ high line. It really is impressive what De Zerbi is doing there despite losing all his best players in the summer and even here missing a load of players.

Can’t make excuses Sweedy, that 45 mins was even worse than the last 45 against Everton, and tht was the worst I’ve seen us play all season… do fancy us to score at least one, maybe two, but I also fancy Brighton to score too…

Considering that was probably the first time this season we’ve genuinely got what we deserved (still don’t think that first peno was a peno, will it was, but it wasn’t the first offence in that passage of play), and looking at the full-time stats we still created a lot of chances over the course of the 90 (but missed them), and our current injury list… I’m not getting on Angie case just yet. All today proved is our squad players just ain’t good enough, still fancy our current 1st 11 when fit to turn over the vast majority of sides!
Still only 4 points behind Arsenal and they were favourites to win the league last week! π

It’s going to be another City title isn’t it? For all the extra excitement we’ve had thus far, there’s just no side on City’s level. Liverpool seem to be in a vit of a false position for me. Just don’t think they’re very good this season. Arsenal always have this kind of game in them. Villa are obviously going to fall away.

I dunno… the 115 don’t look quite as T1000 as somebody likes to say, but they’re missing a few players at the moment… just a crazy part of the season and with a ton of players missing all over the place till the end of Jan, I’m not betting any Monster Munch on anybody until then…
