As for winning the League, your lot has about as much practical chance as my lot. Sure, your lot might be a bit closer to not winning it than my lot of not winning it, but the key phrase there is “not winning it”.

Your current team has peaked, and your owners (like mine) aren’t going to splash the cash like the Money Clubs (and don’t forget, “we” have those new “fit and proper” owners to contend with too!).

If I were a Spurs fan I’d be pretty bitter about that final and probably wouldn’t let it drop even after years have passed.

Spurs matched Liverpool stride for stride for the entire first 23 seconds. After that I guess their players heads dropped knowing time was against them and thus created very little in a one sided game. More of a training match for Liverpool really.

So yeah I’d be bitter about the poor reaction from Spurs after going one down so early, but I’d hide it with a baseless story that they were hard done by the penalty even though deep down I’d know it was 100% a pen by letter of the law.
