Perhaps the most shocking aspect of this transfer window is PSG rejecting a £189m for a player who is out of contract next summer. what is more intriguing is that the player has informed PSG that he is not prepared to sign a new deal. that is a decision they will regret in 12 months time. I wonder who advises them? seeing this kind of mess makes me appreciate the good work that Marina is doing at Chelsea.

Mikus, if the Saul deal goes through I don’t think Chelsea are bulletproof especially given the competition but Saul definitely strengthens the Chelsea squad and gives Chelsea a different option to what they have now.

It does make me think looking at the table (only 3 games in I know), there’s barely goal/s conceded between 4 teams at the top end of the table. The head-to-heads will be tight.
With the activity that’s gone on tonight and in recent, some prem teams have strengthened which will increase competition.
Like last season, I can see teams taking points off each other.

New Rule One: No loans for players over 21
New Rule Two: Clubs can only loan out 4 players, MAX!!
New Rule Three: Clubs can only accpet 2 players on loan, MAX!!!That should sort it out.

Simply to use Chelski as an example (and becuase I don’t like them very much! 😉 ), I really can see how a club can loan out a bunch of midfielders, and then take midfielders back on loan… in any other walks of life, that would be called taking the piss!
