Not had as much time this week as I wanted to get stuck into this.

        Essentially about the last decade.

From our club point of view, it’s an interest line on a Bar Chart that would measure the ultimate success if we were to finally nail the League against what we had to endure during the reign of Hicks and Gillette.

2010 was a highly low point in the world of LFC. We had players like Milan Jovanovic and Christian Poulsen – we were a laughing stock whilst Man United and Chelsea were picking up Trophies.

I think possibly in terms of how the rest of the Prem shaped up, the Turning has to be the Rise of Manchester City coupled with Manchester United’s demise and Alex Ferguson finally stepping down.

How important was that title win back in 2012 which effectively was settled on goal difference and the “Agguerrrrrrro” Moment?

Pep’s been a revolution as with Jurgen Klopp.

Could we see possibly a Liverpool dominance going into the new Decade – wishful thinking hahaha 🙂 🙂

3 Premier League titles, 3 FA Cups, 1 League Cup, 1 Champions League and 2 Europa Leagues.

Not been a bad decade for Chelsea.?

Nil, Torres was unfortunately injury effected by the time he came to Chelsea and it was a very competitive Chelsea squad at that time with Drogba etc.

What I liked about Torres though is that he never gave up trying always gave 100% when he played and he played an integral part in both the CL win and the first EL win with Torres goal in the Camp Nou securing a place in the CL Final and his corner won in the Final led to the Drogba equaliser and he scored the opening goal in the EL Final too on the way to Chelsea beating Benfica .

Torres was always popular with the Chelsea fans and he always spoke kindly of the support he received from Chelsea fans during his tenure at Chelsea.

Shame we didn’t get Torres to Chelsea when he was in his pomp but Chelsea fans generally have fond memories of him.

In decline or not, the fact that Chelsea were able to sign Torres as basically a squad player, gives an indication of how good chelsea were back then. Chelsea IMO changed the game in the PL, but I suppose that predated this decade. If they can now make a long term model work with Frank, the horizon looks pretty good for them, and the moneyball strategy that they were much derided for, seems to be saving them somewhat. Chelsea have been sticking 2 fingers up to everyone else and doing it their own way, which seems to work for them.
