With that said, the amount of attention it has got in the media is every bit as ridiculous. How many footballers from decades gone by are they going to drag out to say how “this wouldn’t have happened in my day”?

This first round of his execution of his skill was great to watch and reminded me of a friend I used to play with in the 90s in the park; he was skillful with flair and a ‘showboater’ but good.
Lol Anthony reminds me of somebody stuck on a roundabout and can’t make his mind up which exit to choose.
Showboating for anybody to swagger has to be Super good in their profession; only then they can pull it off. Not just in football, but a lot of other sports.
There are plenty of well-known personalities both dead and alive to remember.

How many footballers from decades gone by are they going to drag out to say how “this wouldn’t have happened in my day”?
Well I do remember seeing old black and white footage of that bygone legend Charles Charlie Charles showboat a fair bit. He got caught a few times if I remember correctly.
The thing about that bit of showboating and correctly me if I’m wrong I’ve only seen snippets of it, is that the resulting pass went out of play. Wasn’t exactly a wow looking piece of skill either. Ten Hag looked less than amused.
If Utd come 2nd they go into some sort of extra round play off against a CL drop out or did I dream that? Hope not would be a weird dream to be honest!

The talking point is that Anthony just went round and round when there were no players in his vicinity. It’s actions of that nature that will ultimately irate people. Understandably thereafter, this is then made a big thing of and it’s obvious point blank, that is not what Ten Hag is about.

Puppy, we should have had a “bit too much” for the last 5 games as well… and yet here we are!
The only “silver cloud” I can think of, is the snail brigade need the win to have any chance of playing Euro footy after Christmas, a draw doesn’t help them at all… they have to score at some stage, and hopefully the Harry and Sonny Show can kick in!
