– Chilean will earn a staggering £450,000-a-week at Old Trafford. That comprises a basic wage of £350,000 and an additional £100,000 in image rights.
– He will be paid a £7.5m signing-on fee every year for the four years of his contract.
– His deal will run until 2023.
By my calculations, I make that a grand total of 135,600,000 over 4 and half years…. and that doesn’t include agents fees….
I seriously hope this is wrong…even Banjo is jealous.

Every time I go on twitter it seems to go up by about £100k a week! We’re all quick to slate the papers when they talk about transfer rumours so why is everyone all of a sudden believing them now? I don’t for a minute believe he’d be on £577,000 a week.

Ed, Chuckles worked that out by incorporating his alleged salary, image rights and signing on fees and dividing it by the contract length, so it could be reasonably accurate if the figures he used are close to being correct….Pagan
