I do like how when Arsenal win itβs because we havenβt been tested even tho Liverpool havenβt yet been tested or indeed United and one could also say the same of spuds Chelsea and city π€ frankly they only real rest so far this season is spuds Chelsea and that got the inevitable drawβ¦.

Really am dreading tonight’s game. Even with Liverpool’s injuries, I can’t see how we get anything from the game. Confidence is shot to pieces. I suspect Casemiro will be hauled out ahead of the game to try to appease the fans.

We’ve weirdly have had an indifferent start, so it’s hard to be feeling the confidence. Especially with the injuries, but you’d think at the start of August, everyone would believe we’d dismantle this United outfit which I think is one of the worse as far as I can remember even from the late 80s.
Football Scripts though never quite happen the way you want them. Another high line exposed? Ten Hag 2 up at half-time? It wouldn’t surprise me if this was yet another draw.
I would be just glad of coming away with 3 points and then start preparing for Bournemouth this Sat.

We’ll see Nine. A loss for either side means it’s been a terrible start whereas a win gets either right back on track. Ten Hag has to stick or twist with some players supposedly favouring a return to a more pragmatic style (surprise, surprise). Hopefully, Ten Hag is true to his principles, though that could well mean further teething problems until he’s able to instill his style. I’d be disappointed if he abandoned his principles, though I’d understand it if he’d come to the conclusion that this lot simply can’t do what he’s asking of them.
We were actually very good against Liverpool in pre-season but that will count for little tonight.
