Yes! I my work timekeeping suffered because if this game lol. I would tell my self I would go to bed after making sure I got a player that I wanted to sign or when an important match 3 or 4 weeks would come haha… It was like crack for me. I had to resist the urge to play it, I got no self control… I played the old championship manager version but I think they were made by the same company. Great game and the stats were usually spot on even for the unknown youngsters!

Never ever played it but still got 7 so i’m pleased with that.

Mwake, yes that’s right. I also played Championship Manager for a while then Sports Interactive moved over and started making Football Manager. Championship Manager carried on for a while but wasn’t anywhere near as good any more. It really was like a drug. Whatever important things you had to do, it was always:

“One more game…”

I knew I’d been playing too long when I watched Theo Walcott go from an 18yr old at Arsenal to battling with me for trophies as a manager!
