Some good Cup action to look forward to this weekend. Teams involved:

Saturday: Middlesbrough vs Chelsea – 17:15 BBC1
Sunday: Crystal Palace vs Everton – 12:30 – ITV
Sunday: Southampton vs Manchester City – 15:00 BBC1
Sunday: Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool – 18:00 – ITV

In addition to this, there are a small handful of Premier League Fixtures to look out for. As it will be an International Break the following weekend, it’s worth getting your teeth into! 🙂

We certainly are going through a run of bad luck over the past few games. Let’s hope we get a bit of change. But as someone once said you make your own luck.

From a Chelsea perspective it won’t be easy v Palace but I would have gladly taken Palace over potentially Liverpool or City.

Wolves-Man City PL Fixture already postponed of that Semi-Final cup week. I’m suspect already the programme has been extended till the 23rd (unless I’m mistaken). If these teams progress past the quarters of the CL, the scheduling gets more trickier and hectic.

I understand Klopp obviously needs to rotate the squad, but the problem is we only really have one way to play with the pacey strikers up top, so starting with Firmino & Jota up top was never really going to work effectively. Would it not have been better to start with Diaz, then bring off later as opposed to vice versa?

Forest absolutely gave a good account for themselves tonight – could have been an upset on another night. They should really believe in themselves more and push for those play off places. They need to be in my view back in the Top Flight.

Villa-Liverpool scrapped which would have been on Easter Saturday. Would love the semi played on this day at Wembley with a 5:30 or 6pm kick off, but got a feeling this will be requested for Easter Sunday. Hope ITV get this.
